The Consultant shall provide Materials Testing and Inspection Services for the PureWater Westminster Facility Project ("the Services") for the City. a. The Scope of Services requires Material Testing and Inspection for the Project included but not limited soil, concrete, asphalt field and laboratory testing in accordance with the attached Drawings and Specifications. Inspections also must include precast wall panels and all other precast elements of the building, inspection of the CMU walls, and welding inspection. b. Providing the City and the Project Engineer with inspection and material testing reports. c. Report to the Site Inspector from the Engineering Firm all material testing- deficiencies and observed non-compliances with the Project specifications and the Industry Standards. d. The Material Testing and Inspection Reports shall be submitted to the City and the Engineer within time period no more than 5 consecutive working days after completing material testing and inspection. Prospective bidders who have questions regarding this Request for Bids should email their questions to Bids@westminstermd.gov. The closing time for submission of questions is 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 10, 2025. All questions and the associated answers will be posted on the City website at electronically. All Bids must be signed in ink by the Bidder, with signature in full. Bids must be good for ninety (90) days. To receive notification that information regarding this Request for Bids has been posted to the City website, bidders are encouraged to register with the City by providing their firm name, name of firm representative, and email address for the firm's point of contact to: Bids@westminstermd.gov The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, or to accept a proposal which, in its sole and absolute judgment, is in its best interest. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
