Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Cabot, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; swimming pool; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for the construction of a sidewalk / parking lot.
The Project includes the following Work: Question Deadline 11/26/2025 at 4:00 PM ET Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. Contact information and submittal procedures for such questions are as follows: A. All questions shall be submitted using Bidding Documents Website Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Repairs and replacement to the existing pool deck, installation of a new pool liner, demolition of old mechanical building, construction of new mechanical building, installation of pool discharge management, construction of gravel parking lot, construction of upgraded mechanical and plumbing equipment, new pool amenities, new electrical service, and other site improvements. Alternative bids are also being received for new UV treatment, replacement of the pool slide, and asphalt paving of the proposed parking lot. The project has received funding from the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) through the Community Conservation Partnerships Program (C2P2). Butler County (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: SEBCO Pool Improvements Separate Bids will be received for the following Contracts: Contract No. Description of Contract 25-01 General Construction 25-02 Electrical Construction 25-03 Plumbing Construction Butler County reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, mistakes, informalities, to accept any bid or combination of bids that are deemed to be in the best interest of Butler County and to reject any or all proposals. The estimated cost for this project is greater than Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000) and the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act shall apply. Estimated Contract Value: $1.5m - $2m *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Bid security in the form a Certified Check or Bid Bond shall be furnished with the bid in an amount not less than 10%. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted via PennBID in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Telephone inquiries are unacceptable. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. Statutory Requirements. Bidders must comply with all State antibid-rigging regulations pertaining to work associated with this project, and will be required to submit an executed non-collusion affidavit with the bid. Bidders should refer to provisions of federal and state statutes, rules and regulations dealing with the prevention of environmental pollution and preservation of public natural resources that affect the project, pursuant to Act No. 247 of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, approved October 26, 1972. This Project falls under The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania enacted Act 127 of 2012, known as the Public Works Employment Verification Act ('the Act') which requires all public work contractors and subcontractors to utilize the Federal Government's E-Verify system to ensure that all employees performing work on public work projects are authorized to work in the United States. All Bidders are required to submit a Public Works Employment Verification Form as a precondition for the Contract Award. The estimated cost for this project is greater than Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000) and the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act shall apply. All bids shall be irrevocable for 60 days after the bid opening date unless award is delayed by a required approval of another government agency, the sale of bonds, or the award of a grant or grants, in which case this Bid shall remain subject to acceptance for 120 days after the bid opening date as provided by the Act of November 26, 1978 (P.L. 1309, No. 317), as amended by the Act of December 12, 1994 (P.L. 1042, No. 142).
