Renovation of a library in Harrodsburg, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
The Mercer County Public Library will accept sealed bids for the replacement of the library roof at 109 W. Lexington St., Harrodsburg, KY until the date and time stated above. Interested parties must have at least 5 years of experience installing commercial roof systems on buildings over 10,000 square feet. Commercial roofing references are required. o All bids must include the removal and disposal or the existing roof system down to the metal deck. o Bids must include replacement of existing flat roof system with a system that drains standing water to existing roof drains. o Bids must include planning to account for HVAC and any other mechanical units existent on the current roof. o Bids must contain provisions for a 15 to 20 year warranty guaranteed by a third party and pursuant to an inspection of the completed roof by this party. o Bids must document: That insurance is carried by your company for damages and/or injuries that occur during work. At least 3 references concerning installation experience of commercial roof systems. Estimated time frame for installation. The criteria for making the award shall be best value price for all responsive and acceptable offers. The Board of Trustees reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids.
