Reference Number 0000293833 The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of the level 2 wet demolition of 881 Main Street. Demolition Contractor is to provide all permits and clearances needed and ensure safety of the workplace all the time. The work is to be level 2 wet demolition, as it's assumed the building and / or debris contains asbestos. (a) The Demolition Contractor will arrange to have the gas and hydro connections disconnected and meters removed by others. (b) The Demolition Contractor to arrange for Towing and storage, if there are any vehicles onsite while Demolition is ongoing and returned to site upon completed backfill inspection (c) Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM) removal as per specification listed under Part E -Specifications (d) The Awarded Contractor must notify the Workplace Safety and Health Director's Office at least 5 days before beginning the work to alter or demolish the building structure that contains ACM that may release into the atmosphere as per Regulation 37.8(2). The Contractor must also supply the Contract Administrator the Workplace Safety and Health Tracking number information for our records a minimum of Two (2) business days prior to starting onsite. A performance bond of a company registered to conduct the business of a surety in Manitoba, in the amount of fifty percent (50%) of the Contract Price Labour and material payment bond of a company registered to conduct the business of a surety in Manitoba, in an amount equal to fifty percent (50%) of the Contract Price.
