Renovation of a mixed-use development in Newburgh, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development; and residential development.

Exterior Stair Repair Question Deadline 06/27/2025 at 12:00 PM ET The last day for submission of questions. All technical questions, comments, and inquiries should be directed to LAN (Attention Mr. Bryan Guarnizo, at telephone number 201-447-6400, fax number 845-615-0351 or email (bryan.guarnizo@lanassociates.com). An addenda will be issued no later than Tuesday, July 1, 2025. Plan deposit is refundable in accordance with the terms in the Instructions to Bidders to all submitting bids. Any bidder requiring documents to be shipped shall make arrangements with the printer and pay for all packaging and shipping costs. Please note REVplans are the designated location and means for distributing and obtaining all bid package information. Only those Contract Documents obtained in this manner will enable a prospective bidder to be identified as an official plan holder of record. The Provider takes no responsibility for the completeness of Contract Documents obtained from other sources. Contract Documents obtained from other sources may not be accurate or may not contain addenda that may have been issued. All bid addenda will be transmitted to registered plan holders via email and will be available at online. Plan holders who have paid for hard copies of the bid documents will need to make the determination if hard copies of the addenda are required for their use and coordinate directly with the printer for hard copies of addenda to be issued. There will be no charge for registered plan holders to obtain hard copies of the bid addenda. The owner reserves the right to waive any formalities or to reject any or all bids. An appropriate Surety's Consent by a Surety Company qualified to do business in the State of New York and on the approved list bidding itself to become surety for the full and faithful performance of the Contract in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract for the protection of all persons furnishing materials or labor for fulfilling the Contract is also required in all cases. Bid Bond, Consent of Surety must be obtained from Bid Bond/Surety Companies listed on the Federal Register "Department of Treasury" Circular 570. The register will be provided with the bid documents. All bids and security must be enclosed in a properly sealed envelope bearing on the outside the name of the bidder and the title of the bid contained therein. Attention is particularly called to the provision for Equal Employment Opportunity and payment not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the specification. No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Work consists of the following:a 1. Demolition and construction of exterior stairs along Newburgh Housing Authority Administration Building at 40 Walsh Road as well as installation of new railings. 2. Demolition and construction of block retaining walls adjacent to exterior stairs. 3. Demolition and construction of stamped concrete walkways at each landing of exterior stairs. 4. Contractor shall prepare a deduct alternate stating the amount to be deducted to the base bid for maintaining, power washing, and replacing the wall caps for the walls noted on the site plans in lieu of fully demolishing and reconstructing the walls. Refer to specification section 012300 "Alternates" for additional information. 5. Contractor shall prepare Unit Prices per specification section 012200. 6. Contractor shall include in a line item for a $10,000.00 Allowance. Refer to specification section 012100 "Allowances" for additional information.
