The bridge is currently posted 11 tons for commercial vehicles and 7 tons for emergency vehicles. Project will replace the superstructure. The existing box beams will be removed and replaced in kind. A new concrete deck will be installed. Scour protection will be installed in front of each abutment and areas that have washed out will be underpinned. Approximately 150 feet of approach work each side of the bridge will be wedge and leveled to tie in the new grade to existing roadway features. Johnson County uses the INDOT Profit Matrix.
