No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days after the time of the opening of the bids. The location of the project shall be on Kennedy Road and Crownhill Road in Prospect Borough, Butler County, PA. Provisions for liquidated damages are set forth in the Agreement. All bidders must be PennDOT pre-qualified as a prime contractor and must also meet the necessary work classification codes for the completion of the project. All bids submitted must have the contractor's valid pre-qualification certification attached or it will be rejected. To demonstrate qualifications to perform the Work, each Bidder must be prepared to submit, within five days of OWNER's request, written information such as financial data, previous experience, and evidence of authority to conduct business in the jurisdiction where the Project is located. The work included under this contract covers the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, and equipment required to complete the work as described herein, shown on the Contract Drawings and necessary for complete operating facilities. The work under Contract No. 2025-01 generally consists of repairs of Kennedy Road and Crownhill Road. Pavement maintenance includes, but is not limited to, the milling of existing bituminous surfaces, resurfacing and overlay, all excavation, grade adjustments, and final restoration. Contractor shall submit an E-Verify Program Verification in compliance with the Public Works Employment Verification Act 127 of 2012. BIDDER'S SURETY - A certified check payable to the Prospect Borough or a bid bond on the bid form executed by the Bidder and a surety company approved by the OWNER, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total amount of bid, must be submitted with each bid or bids will be considered nonresponsive and immediately rejected. SUCCESSFUL BIDDING BIDDER awarded this contract shall provide a performance surety in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount.
