Site work and outdoor lighting for a transportation facility in Medicine Lodge, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; and for outdoor lighting for a transportation facility.
The project will replace runway and taxiway lighting and replace and relocate REILS and PAPIs. This will include new conduit, base cans, wiring, a new vault enclosure and regulator. Replacing the beacon light is an alternate bid item. Question Deadline 07/01/2025 Questions regarding bids shall be directed to Cory Gaston at cgaston@kirkham.com and Alexa Hazelton at ahazelton@kirkham.com no later than seven (7) calendar days prior to the bid opening. Site Directions: Medicine Lodge Airport is 3 miles SE of Medicine Lodge. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid guaranty in the amount of five (5) percent of the total amount of the bid. The bid guaranty may be by certified check or bid bond made payable to Medicine Lodge, Kansas. Bids may be held by the City of Medicine Lodge, Kansas, for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of evaluating bids prior to award of contract. The right is reserved as the City of Medicine Lodge may require, to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in the bids received.
