WWTP Building 200 and 400 Electrical Upgrades The Tenderer is required to submit with its Tender, a Consent of Surety and a Bid Bond in a form acceptable to the CITY, or in lieu of a Bid Bond, a Tenderer may submit, along with a Consent of Surety, a certified cheque or an irrevocable letter of credit in favour of the CITY equal to 10% of the Tender Sum as a guarantee that, if awarded the contract for the Work, the Tenderer will execute a contract. As it is the purpose of the CITY to obtain the Tender most suitable and most advantageous to the interests of the CITY, and notwithstanding anything else contained within the Tender Documents, the CITY reserves the right, in its sole and unfettered discretion, to reject or accept any Tender, including the right to reject all Tenders.
