The work of constructing the Mulga Water System DWSRF Improvements Project - Rebid (3) Contract 1 (Installation Only) - DWSRF Project No. FS010249-02 will be let under one Contract. The principal items of work are detailed herein below: Mulga Loop Road Project Area (Labor Only) 1. 4,200 LF of 6" C900 PIPE 4. Automatic Air Release Valve 2. 40 LF 12" Steel Casing Pipe 5. Fire Hydrants 3. Gate Valves There will be no Pre-Bid meeting. The Contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder. No bid may be withdrawn after the time for opening bids has passed. The Owner reserves the right to hold the bids for a period of sixty (60) days after the date of receiving the Bids. The Contractor is hereby advised that TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE on this project and that the contract time of 100 consecutive calendar days total and noted restrictions shall be strictly observed. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES WILL BE ASSESSED IF CONTRACT TIME IS EXCEEDED. The Contractor may apply for an extension of time in accordance with the provisions of the contract; however, such an extension must be approved prior to the contract completion date to avoid the imposition of liquidated damages.
