Renovation of a service station / car wash facility in Greeley, Colorado. Completed plans call for the renovation of a service station / car wash facility.

Reference Number 0000389882 Weld County School District 6 (Greeley/Evans) is requesting statements of qualifications from Design/Build (D/B) teams to assist the District in the design and construction of a concrete pad location for a new walk-in freezer. The walk-in freezer unit has been purchased separately by D6 Nutrition Services and will be delivered and installed by separate vendor. To make the freezer site pad-ready, several elements of architectural, structural, electrical and civil design must be considered, along with construction of said elements. Information from Polar King, the freezer vendor, is attached to provide preliminary information regarding the requirements necessary for the new freezer. In general, a level (approx.) 16' x 65' concrete pad is required, set at an elevation that makes the floor of the freezer match the threshold elevation (el. 100.0') of an existing door opening. The work will require some demolition of surrounding concrete and asphalt elements (existing freezer has already been demolished). Surrounding grades will need to be adjusted, with replacement of concrete/asphalt, to promote positive drainage away from building elements. Structural assessment is needed to determine concrete foundation and slab requirements for the freezer, with consideration for the freezer to be loaded to capacity. Electrical distribution from existing service is required to feed two (2) refrigeration condensing units and lighting in/on the freezer. Flashing and sealant will be required where the new freezer attaches to the existing building. The D/B Services shall include those described in the Design/Build Agreement - Article 2.0 Design/Builder Responsibilities. Refer to the Design/Build Agreement that accompanies this RFQ.
