Renovation of a fire / police facility in Farmington Hills, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
“The owner has selected a Design Builder. A timeline for construction has not yet been established” Reference Number 0000389831 The City of Farmington Hills is seeking the design and installation of a radio signal coverage solution as this fire station has known signal coverage issues. The fire station was built in 1994 and contains approximately 8,624sq. ft. The main fire station building has a total of two (2) floors and accessible attic space over the apparatus bay. The living quarters and office area of the fire station is approximately 5,600 square feet and the apparatus bay is approximately 3,024 square feet. The scope of work will be comprised of supplying and installing all the wiring & equipment required for a fully operational Emergency Responder Radio Coverage system (Radio Repeater system/ BDA). The entire fire station is powered by an emergency backup generator. Emergency Responder Coverage System/BDA will be required to be installed in the communications closet on the second-floor mezzanine communications closet located within the apparatus bay.
