The Windham School District will receive sealed bids for asphalt paving and repairs at Windham High School. 64 London Bridge Road, Windham, New Hampshire 03087. All project work shall be completed during the 2025 summer school break (June 23, 2025, through August 18, 2025). The School District has sole discretion in determining the best interest of the district and to waive any informality deemed to be in the best interest of the School District. Bidders shall be responsible for any and all expenses that they may incur in preparing their bids. Submit bids in a sealed envelope, clearly marked: "WHS ASPHALT Sidewalk Paving - 2025" WINDHAM SCHOOL DISTRICT SCOPE OF THE WORK 1. Remove existing Concrete from sidewalks to accommodate 4" of new asphalt 2. Grade the area using crushed stone as needed to ensure proper water flow and prevent puddles. Compact foundation with a vibratory roller. 3. Saw cut to create smooth transition point were required 4. Add 2 1/2 " of base 3/4 Base binder 5. Tack and shim between the binder and top coat 6. Add 1 1/2 " of 3/8 Top Coat . 7. Roll and compact to a tight mat finish 8. Restore and landscape the sidewalk or other damage to the site 9.
