Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Windham, New Hampshire. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The work consists of the construction of a paved access drive, the construction of a grass athletic field, track and associated track event areas, drainage improvements, field irrigation, and other associated site improvements as shown on the plans. Bids shall be on a lump sum, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. The project is contingent upon approval by the Windham School Board and the Voters at the 2026 Annual Meeting, the receipt of funding for the project, and the District's decision in its sole discretion to proceed with the project. Construction will commence on or after July 1st , 2026, to be decided between the District and the contractor. The work will be substantially completed September 30, 2027 and ready for final payment by October 31, 2027. The Work includes the following major items: a. Erosion and Sediment Control b. Clearing and grubbing of trees c. Unclassified excavation and soils management including rock removal d. Installation of retaining walls e. Installation of stormwater management BMPS f. Construction of new eight (8) lane 400 meter running track including subbase, pavement drainage and surfacing g. Installation of modular storage building and utilities h. Construction of natural turf field using loam and seed i. Asphalt parking lot, access road and walkways. j. Concrete sidewalk and stairway k. Loam and Seed Disturbed areas A bid deposit of 5% shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The District reserves the right in its sole discretion to reject any and all bids, either in whole or in part; to waive any defects, informalities and/or irregularities in bid responses; to accept substitutions or exceptions to these requirements; to accept any bid even though it may not be the lowest bid; to negotiate with any Bidder submitting a bid; and to otherwise act as shall be determined by the School Board in its sole and absolute judgment to be in the best interest of the District.
