The City reserves the right to accept or reject all or any parts of any and all bids, to waive irregularities and to award in the best interests of the City of Midland. The City of Midland is soliciting sealed bids for the major modernization of three existing elevators located within Riverside Place Senior Living Community, a multi-story facility housing over 200 senior residents. The selected contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to perform a full modernization of both elevators in accordance with all applicable codes, safety standards, and best industry practices. Due to the critical nature of elevator service in a senior living environment, only one elevator may be taken out of service at any given time. The successful bidder must submit a detailed phasing plan and schedule that ensures continuous vertical transportation access for residents and staff throughout the duration of the project.
