The City of Midland is soliciting sealed bids for the major modernization of three existing elevators located within Riverside Place Senior Living Community, a multi-story facility housing over 200 senior residents. The selected contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to perform a full modernization of both elevators in accordance with all applicable codes, safety standards, and best industry practices. Due to the critical nature of elevator service in a senior living environment, only one elevator may be taken out of service at any given time. The successful bidder must submit a detailed phasing plan and schedule that ensures continuous vertical transportation access for residents and staff throughout the duration of the project.
