*As of July 18, 2025, project was awarded to HPS, LLC, awarded amount is $58,756.63 Mercer County Board of Education is requesting bids to provide all work for the delivery and installation of serving lines, two hot, two cold, and one utility, at Princeton High School, 1321 Stafford Drive, Princeton, WV 24740. Other requirements are detailed in the Invitation to Bid. The Mercer County Board of Education invites bids to provide all work, including but not limited to labor, material, equipment, supplies, and transportation of serving counters identified below and in the attached specification sheets. Remove Delivery and installation of these items will be made to Princeton High School, 1321 Stafford Drive, Princeton, WV 24740 1. SOLID TOP SERVING COUNTER Quantity of one, Simplicity Series SIM-ST-LP-36 (or similar) solid top serving counter. 1.1 The top is to be 30" wide, 36" wide, and fabricated from a minimum of 14-gauge stainless steel with square turndown on all sides and corners will be fully welded, ground, and polished. 1.2 Top to have #4 satin finish. 1.3 Cam-operated line-up locks. 1.4 Standard grade laminate to cover all sides of the steel unibody structure. Color: Wilsonart Blue Curacoa - Y0353. 1.5 Interior reinforced with heavy-gauge galvanized uprights. Corners and bottom of edge provided with 1/2" stainless steel trim strips. 1.6 5" plate-mounted swivel casters. 1.7 10" Beaded, stainless steel tray slide. 1.8 6" deep stainless steel work shelf. 1.9 Storage shelf with intermediate shelf. 2. HOT FOOD ELECTRIC SERVING COUNTER Quantity of two, Simplicity Series SIM-TW-4-60 (or similar) four-well hot food counter. 2.1 The top is to be 30" wide, 60" long, 36" high, and fabricated from a minimum of 14-gauge stainless steel 2.2 Cam-operated line-up locks. 2.3 Standard grade laminate to cover all sides of the steel unibody structure. Color: Wilsonart Blue Curacoa - Y0353 2.4 Interior reinforced with heavy-gauge galvanized uprights. Corners and bottom of edge provided with 1/2" stainless steel trim strips. 2.5 Provide with dry/wet electric hot food wells to be bottom mounted and have four 12" x 20" die-stamped openings. Wells have the ability to perform equally with or without water. Interior pan to be 304 stainless steel with an energy-efficient heat source and solid-state digital controls 2.6 5" plate-mounted swivel casters 2.7 Sloped front protector, stainless steel top. Adjustable tempered glass 2.8 10" beaded stainless steel tray slide 2.9 6" wide stainless steel cutting board 2.10 Storage base with intermediate shelf 2.11 Electrical: 208V/1Ph, Nema 6-15P 3. COLD FOOD ELECTRIC SERVING COUNTER Quantity of two, Simplicity Series SIM-TA-60 (or similar) four-well cold food counter. 3.1 The top is to be 30" wide, 60" long, 36" high, and fabricated from a minimum of 14-gauge stainless steel 3.2 Cam-operated line-up locks. 3.3 Standard grade laminate to cover all sides of the steel unibody structure. Color: Wilsonart Blue Curacoa - Y0353 3.4 Four pan cold well to be 18 gauge stainless steel, fully welded construction with 1/4 " coved corners. The cold pan shall be pitched to a 1" drain, which is extended to a valve below the base 3.5 TempestAir cold pan shall be 9" deep and include a patented forced air refrigeration system. Cold pan includes low velocity fans and an advanced cold wall design operating on R-449A refrigerant. Cold pan will meet or exceed NSF7 standards while allowing food pans to remain flush to the counter top. 3.6 5" Plate mounted swivel casters 3.7 Sloped front protector, stainless steel trim top, adjustable, tempered glass. 3.8 10" beaded, stainless steel tray slide 3.9 6" wide stainless steel cutting board 3.10 Storage base 3.11 120V/1ph, NEMA 5-15P 4. SCOPE OF WORK: 4.1. Removal and disposal of existing units. 4.2. Install new units 4.3. Startup operation, test, and certify new units 4.4. Minimum of one-year parts and labor warranty on all equipment
