Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Charles Town, West Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; for the renovation of a swimming pool; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and playground / park / athletic field.

The Project includes the following Work: Replacement of the existing pool, pool deck, and perimeter fencing. Renovation of the existing pool building including demolition, addition, interior and exterior renovation. Addition of a site retaining wall, picnic shelter, ADA parking, driveway improvements, and development of the site for the proposed splash pad. Project scope will include building construction, excavation, site development, utility work, and paving. The Work will be substantially completed within 270 calendar days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run, and completed and ready for final payment within 300 days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run. Liquidated damages shall be $1,000 per day. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to City of Charles Town in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the base bid. Contractor is required to provide the Drug Free Workplace Certification in accordance with WV Code 21- 1D-5. All Bidders are required to have a West Virginia Contractor's License per Section 30-42-12 of the West Virginia Code. Bids received after the scheduled closing time for the reception of bids will be returned unopened to the bidders. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. Upon Issuing Office's receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents or electronic documents will be transmitted to the prospective Bidder. The shipping charge amount will depend on the shipping method requested.
