Remodeling of a museum in Charles Town, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the remodel of a museum.
The City of Charles Town is requesting proposals from qualified and licensed contractors to install new flooring at the Firehouse Gallery, 108 N. George. The proposal also includes the design and installation of an interior ADA ramp. Send all inquiries to Maintenance Director, Jim Wysong at jwysong@charlestownwv.us or 304-279-8301. All questions/inquiries must be submitted in writing via mail or email to the primary contact. This Request for Proposal (RFP) provides interested vendors with information to prepare and submit a Proposal for consideration by the City of Charles Town (City) to install new luxury vinyl tile flooring and design and install an interior ADA ramp that provides access between two separate levels of the Firehouse Gallery at 108 N. George Street, Charles Town, WV 25414. This RFP process is intended to identify potential Contractors with which the City may, in its sole discretion, choose to enter into a Contract for the proposed consulting services. It is expressly understood and agreed that the submission of a Proposal does not require or obligate the City to pursue a contract with any Proposer. All negotiations are subject to the consideration and approval of the City, which may, at its sole discretion, accept or reject any proposed contract.
