Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Tinicum Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call civil work for a bridge / tunnel.

Specifications and forms for proposal may be obtained or examined on the internet at no cost. All bids must be made on forms furnished by the Township (via Online) and must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, issued by a Surety licensed to conduct business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in the amount of at least (10%) of the total price bid made payable to the Township; and Anti-Collusion Affidavit. Bidders shall verify compliance with the Public Works Employment Verification Act (E-Verify Program). Completed bidder information and qualification forms must be included with all bids. All information must be submitted via the Online Program. The successful bidder(s) will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Insurance and Performance, Payment and Maintenance Bonds, each in the amount of One Hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price with a corporate surety licensed to conduct business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and approved by the Township, in accordance with bid specifications Award of Contracts, if Contracts are awarded, will be based on the Total Base Bid and will be to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder for each project. Tinicum Township reserves the unqualified right to reject any or all bids and waive any informalities. Questions Due Date: Jul 18th 2025, 12:30 PM EDT. Rip Rap reference in bid items 12 & 13 are reversed. Plan details on GP-11 set are correct. Supply of materials and completion of all work included in these specifications and associated construction documents, including but not limited to bridge rehabilitation, roadway construction, erosion and sedimentation control, abutment and pier revetment, pavement markings, signage, traffic control, and associated improvements. This work includes all reinforcing bar for the project This section consists of the following items: 1) DISMANTLING STONE MASONRY as indicated or as directed by the engineer include salvaging stones, 2) RECONSTRUCT STONE MASONRY on top of existing masonry that remains. 3) STONE MASONRY PARAPET removal and construction of new, 4) STONE REPLACEMENT and 5) furnishing NEW STONES that will be used in reconstruction of the stone masonry piers, abutments, or parapets. This section consists of the REPOINTING of existing masonry item. Masonry surfaces that have not been reconstructed, shall be repointed. Repointing includes removing existing mortar or shotcrete on the surface of the stones, preparing the joints between stones for receiving new pointing by removing existing mortar or other material from the joints between the stones, cleaning the joints, installing pointing mortar, finishing the joint, and cleaning the finished surface from stains. This work is for the installation of a concrete apron at the base of the piers and the abutments including removal of existing grout bags and the existing concrete apron along the face of the West Pier
