If the bidder returns the set of documents in good condition, within 10 days following the bid, the deposit will be refunded. If the bidder does not return the set of documents within the designated time, none of the deposit will be refunded. Project Scope of Work includes: Complete replacement of plaster and associated tile finishes below the waterline of the two pools at the Choice Wellness Center. Activity pool area is approx. 5,000 sf with zero-entry edge, lazy river and water slide splash pool. Three-lane lap pool area approx 1600 sf. Pool entry steps and underwater benches/platforms also to be resurfaced, and pool drain covers to be replaced. Type of Bids: A single prime Contract will be issued. Each bid must be accompanied by a separate envelope containing an acceptable bidder s bond in a sum equal to five percent of the full amount of the bid, executed by the bidder as principal and by a surety, conditioned that if the principal's bid be accepted and the contract awarded to the principal, the principal, within ten days after notice of award, will execute a contract in accordance with the term of the bid and a contractor's bond as required by law. Each bid shall contain a copy of the State Contractors License or current Certificate of Renewal thereof issued by the secretary of state enclosed in the required bid bond envelope. Bidder must be licensed for the full amount of the bid. No Bid will be read or considered which does not fully comply with the above provisions as to bond and license. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and/or to waive any informality in the bids received and to accept any bid deemed to be most favorable to the interest of the Grand Forks Park District. Time is of the essence. The work, if awarded, is proposed to be completed by December 30, 2025.
