Scope of Work for Boyden Modular Classroom Connecting Link Walpole Public Schools is soliciting written quotes for the construction of a connecting hallway to provide access to 2 modular classrooms that are being added to the Boyden Elementary School in Walpole MA. The following is the scope of work for the project: Modular classrooms by others Sitework by others Link foundation by others Sidewalk by others Coordination with electrical, fire alarm, sprinkler, IT and data provided by others The size of the connecting hallway is 51 ft by 11 ft 9 3/4 inches To include interior finishes Flooring quartz altro tile or equivalent 2x2 acoustical ceiling tiles The work will include the framing, insulation and sheathing of the exterior of the hallway Construction of a membrane roof that will join the hallway connector with the modular classrooms and provide a waterproof connection Construction of a ADA accessible ramp to access the modular classrooms from the existing building Installation of 1 exterior double door with mullion unit that provides egress from the modular classrooms as well as the Boyden Elementary building Installation of drywall and plastering Work must be completed by August 1, 2025 to allow for the joining of the hallway to the modular classrooms when delivered.
