This section specifies the requirements applicable to the removal of existing pavement under this contract. All work involved with the removal of existing pavement shall be accomplished in conformance with the requirements specified herein, and with related requirements covered by the other sections of these specifications. This requirement will be for 100% small disadvantage business set-aside. The requirement aims to identify and replace deteriorated pavement through milling and paving, IAW the SOW and manufacturer guidelines to various locations on Dover Air Force Base. This comprehensive effort includes applying a Gilsonite-based asphalt sealer to 38,000 square yards of asphalt roads and parking lots, seal 20,000 linear feet of asphalt pavement cracks, sawcut, remove, and repave 120 square yards of asphalt pavement, and stripe 1,500 linear feet of four inch wide line striping. 1. This acquisition is a Small Disadvantaged Business set-aside. 2. The NAICS Code is 237310; size standard is $45,000,000. 3. The project magnitude is between $250,000 and $500,000. 4. Contract performance period is 180 calendar days. 5. The contract type will be Firm Fixed Price (FFP). 6. There will be no site visit for this requirement. 7.
