Site work for a road / highway in Morton, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Construction of RRFB's at Various Locations Cash, a cashier's check, a certified check or a Bid bond, payable to the Treasurer of the Village of Morton, Illinois, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid price, as a proposal guarantee, shall accompany each such bid. Bids may be held for a period of up to sixty (60) days prior to making an award. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Contract Bond to the Village of Morton in an amount equal to his contract price. In accordance with 820/ILCS 130/3 and 130/5, this contract is subject to all of the requirements of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, is subject to the payment of prevailing wages and the Contractor is required to submit monthly certified payroll records. In accordance with Public Act 96-0635, effective 1/1/08, all Contractors and Subcontractors, performing any contractual public work subject to the Prevailing Wage Act, shall have in place a written Substance Abuse Prevention Program filed with the public body engaged in public works. The successful Contractor shall file the Substance Abuse Prevention Program (s), with the Village of Morton, prior to award of the Contract. The Board of Trustees of the Village of Morton reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities and irregularities in any or all bids.
