This project consists of furnishing all required materials, supplies, equipment, tools, and plant to perform all necessary labor for the construction of Memorial Park Restrooms Building. This project is subject to tax-exempt status. The City of Cushing is the only authorized source of bid documents. Documents obtained from any other source may be incomplete. All bids shall be submitted in person. Bids submitted more than ninety-six (96) hours, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, before the time set for opening the bids, as well as bids submitted after the time set for receipt of bids, WILL NOT be considered. A cashier's check, a certified check, or a surety bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid shall be required of each bidder. Deposits will be returned to the unsuccessful bidders. The bid bond should be submitted at the time of bid submission, closing date, and time. Each bid submitted is a legal offer and, when accepted by the City, constitutes a FIRM AND BINDING CONTRACT. The City reserves the right to REJECT ANY or ALL BIDS. The City of Cushing reserves the unconditional right to cancel all or any portion of this project within thirty (30) days from the date of opening of the bids, for any reason and at its sole discretion. By submitting a bid for services, the bidder certifies that they, and any proposed subcontractors, are in compliance with 25 O.S. 1313 and participate in the Status Verification System. The Status Verification System is defined in 25 O.S. 1312 and includes but is not limited to the free Employment Verification Program (E-Verify) available at online.
