Qualified firms wishing to respond to RFP #25P-041 Wastewater Collection System (lift stations, manholes & piping) & Potable and Irrigation Distribution System Improvements must provide all equipment, labor, materials and other means necessary to complete the requirements of this contract as described in this document, whether directly or through sub-contractors/sub-consultants. This does not, however, limit the use of subcontractors or sub-consultants. The initial term of each Agreement shall be the effective date through September 30, 2028, with the option to renew for one (1) three (3) year period. Following completion of the initial term, the renewal period shall automatically occur on October 1, unless either party provides a minimum ninety (90) day written notice of nonrenewal. The prices awarded by CONTRACTOR shall remain fixed and firm for the initial term of the Agreement. At a minimum of six (6) months prior to the end of the initial term, CONTRACTOR may submit a request in writing to the DISTRICT to negotiate an increase or decrease to the current awarded pricing to become effective for the renewal period. Any agreed upon negotiated price change shall remain firm for the remainder of the one (1) three (3) year renewal term. No increase will exceed 5% without board approval.
