The City of Salt Lick is implementing the Salt Lick Green Sinks Nature-Based Flood Mitigation Project and is advertising a request for qualification for engineering services. Professionalservices may include, but are not limited to: feasibility and planning studies, preliminary engineering report, cost estimate preparation, planning, design, construction administration, inspection, other required engineering services, and administration. All firms interested in being considered for this project must submit a proposal detailing qualifications, technical expertise, management and staff capabilities, and prior experience related to the planning and the activities related to the engineering and design of nature-based, environmentally sustainable flood mitigation solutionsin areasthat experience frequent flooding. Such work will contribute to the furthering of the City of Salt Lick's hazard mitigation and flooding mitigation plans. The objective of the competitive process is to objectively select the firm that will provide the highest quality of service. Selected respondents may be interviewed and the firm(s) judged most qualified will be asked to prepare a final proposal which would include fees for said services. The City of Salt Lick reserves the right to reject any and all responses, to waive any technicalities, and to negotiate with the respondent who most nearly meets the project requirements. The City of Salt Lick is not responsible or liable for any costs incurred by the consultants replying to this request.
