The scope of work for this project consists of the roadway resurfacing and select roadway repairs, driveway apron replacement, guiderail replacement, and related site improvements. documents required pursuant to the specifications, and a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the amount bid but not in excess of $20,000.00, and be delivered at the place on or before the hour named above. Each Bid must state the name and address of person, firm and corporation interested in the same as a principal. Bids must be submitted in an opaque sealed envelope, addressed to the Township Clerk, Township of Pemberton, 500 Pemberton-Browns Mills Road, Pemberton, NJ 08068 and identified as Bid (#PT-2-2025) - South Lakeshore Drive Phase III & IV Roadway Improvements. Specifications provide for receipt of Bids by mail. Those Bids which are mailed to the contracting unit shall be sealed, properly marked and shall only be opened for examination at such time and place as all Bids received are unsealed and announced. The Mayor, Township Council and its Solicitor (hereinafter referred to as Owner) will be the sole discretionary body for consideration or rejection of the Bids. WITHDRAWAL OF BIDS: Any Bid may be withdrawn prior to the above scheduled time for the opening of Bids or any authorized postponement thereof. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be directed to Engineer. The Owner will not be responsible for any explanations or interpretations of the Contract Documents. Question Deadline 06/27/2025 Project no- 3204027.05 CONTRACT COMPLETION: Construction shall commence at the project site within fourteen (14) calendar days after the date to be specified in the written 'Notice to Proceed by the Engineer and shall be completed within 60 calendar days from the date the written 'Notice to Proceed' is given, unless otherwise agreed to. PREVAILING WAGE REQUIREMENTS: The provisions of the Department of Labors current wage rate determinations and the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act are requirements of this project. BUSINESS REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE: The provisions of the New Jersey Business Registration Requirements shall be adhered to on this project.
