The project is for Partial Roof Replacement at Fort Dix Elementary School, including all work incidental thereto. The Bidder must be classified as of the date and time of the bid opening in the specified DPMC disciplines. The Bid documents are available as specified. Instructions to bidders include: - Bid proposals must be submitted in duplicate (one original and one copy) in a sealed envelope, addressed to the Owner, and clearly marked with "BID" and the contract title and/or bid number. - Proposals must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond drawn to the order of the Owner, amounting to ten percent (10%) of the bid, not exceeding $20,000. - A Certificate of Consent of Surety is required, stating the surety will provide Performance and Payment Bonds, each at 100% of the contract sum, and a Maintenance Bond in the required form. - Bidders must be pre-qualified in the specified classifications by the New Jersey Division of Property Management and Construction if the bid exceeds $20,000. - All bidders and their subcontractors must comply with the New Jersey State Prevailing Wage Act, New Jersey and Federal anti-discrimination and affirmative action statutes, and registration requirements, including submitting a Business Registration Certificate and Initial Project Workforce Report (Form AA-201), and not being on the debarred bidder lists. - The project is financed through Federal Grants and Davis Beacon Act payroll requirements apply. - The right is reserved to reject all bids and to waive minor informalities as permitted by law. - Pre-bid site visits are available by appointment for representatives who have been approved and have a temporary pass for the military base, subject to advance request and security clearance.
