The project includes the Project includes installing new media at 2 aerators, recoat the exterior of aerators, rehabilitate 2 existing well, replace controls at 2 existing wells, install flowmeters at 2 existing wells,and install SCADA system at 3 existing wells. The Contract Time will be One Hundred Eighty (180) consecutive calendar days, and the liquidated damages will be $550 per consecutive calendar day thereafter. Bids for this work will be accepted only under the name ofthe Bidder to whom the Contract Documents and Addenda, if any, have been issued by the Engineer. Bids received by bidders to whom the Contract Documents were not issued by the Engineer will be returned unopened. State law requires a non-resident bidder to attach/include a copy ofhis resident state's current law pertaining to such state's treatment ofnon-resident contractors with their bid. Any bid submitted by a non-resident contractor which does not include the non-resident contractor's current state law shall be rejected and not considered for award. The City ofMagnolia reserves the right to waive any and all informalities in the bidding and to reject any and all bids.
