The Fall City Metropolitan Park District requests sealed bid proposals for construction ofWest Side Trail Improvements, Phases 1 & 2a. Project consists of constructing 3100 linear feet of new 12-foot-wide separated asphalt multi-use trail with 2-foot gravel shoulders adjacent to SE Redmond-Fall City Road (SR 202). Improvements include site demolitions and grading, asphalt paving, concrete sidewalk with curb ramps, storm drainage improvements, reconstruction of street crossings and residential driveway pavements, signing and pavement markings; tree removal and replacements, existing utility adjustments, landscape planting, fencing, and trail head plaza, including concrete and paver treatments, pedestrian scale lighting, construction of an information kiosk, site amenities, and other work, all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications. The engineer's construction estimate range for this Project's Base Contract is $1,329,000 to $1,550,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The bid proposal provides for awarding either a Base Contract or Alternate Contract (containing additional additive items of work). Proposals shall be submitted onlyon the forms provided with the bid documents and all bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the base bid proposal amount, all as set forth in the Contract Documents. One hundred percent (100%) Payment and Performance Bonds for the awarded contract will be required of the successful Bidder to guarantee faithful performance of the contract. The Fall City Metropolitan Park District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities. No Bidder may withdraw its Bid after the time set for the opening thereof, except as may be provided in. the Contract Documents. Fall City Metropolitan Park District further reserves the right to make the bid ward as deemed in the best interest of Fall City Metropolitan Park District.
