Completed plans call for the addition of a 10,961-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; and for the renovation of a 9,341-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility.

As of July 22, 2025, the construction manager is awaiting the Notice to Proceed. All trades have been awarded. The previous solicitation is for reference purposes only. The scope of work encompasses a comprehensive expansion and renovation of the existing facility. The project includes the construction of new classrooms, offices, restrooms, and support spaces, as well as the enlargement of the multi-purpose room. Site improvements are a significant component, featuring the addition of a new bus lane, expanded parking areas, relocated playground facilities, and enhanced landscaping. Interior renovations involve the installation of decorative PET felt ceiling panels, updated finishes in corridors and reception areas, and new millwork and signage throughout. Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems will be upgraded, including new HVAC units, lighting, power distribution, and plumbing fixtures. The project also incorporates fire and life safety enhancements, such as a modernized fire alarm system and integrated access control. Technology infrastructure will be improved with the installation of Cat 6 cabling, data racks, and CCTV systems. Selective demolition of existing structures and finishes is required to accommodate the new construction and ensure seamless integration with the existing building. Provide lump sum bids for divisions 02 0000 through 32 000 for Construction phase as per Architectural drawings and specifications. This project will begin July 7, 2025, and will occur through May 1, 2026. The package will be awarded using a low bid best Value selection process. No pre-bid meeting will be held. Liquidated damages will be assessed in the amount of $250.00 for each calendar day that the project is delayed based on the project schedule for each trade. PERFORMANCE AND PAYMENT: Upon receipt of a contract exceeding $250,000.00, the successful Contractor shall furnish to the Owner (at the CM/Owner's option) a 100 percent Performance and Payment Bond in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
