Site work and paving for a civil project in San Antonio, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

Project construction may include but is not limited to: asphalt surface course replacement, base and pavement replacement, base reinforcement using geogrid, lime treated subgrade, pothole repair, asphalt milling, striping and pavement markings removal and installation, adjusting existing valve boxes and manholes, and any other items required due to the site conditions to accomplish the project scope. The Deadline for questions is scheduled for July 01, 2023 at 4:00PM (CT). The City of San Antonio point of contact for this solicitation is Procurement Specialist II, Renuka Naidu, Renuka.Naidu@sanantonio.gov. Questions are to be submitted in writing in the Questions and Answers section on online. It is understood and agreed that the work is to be substantially completed on or before 365 calendar days. This project does not include hazardous environmental work. This project requires 10 project signs. Small Business Economic Development Advocacy (SBEDA) Program Compliance - Respondents shall meet the subcontracting requirements as stated on 050.01 Form and on the Subcontractor/Supplier Utilization Commitment Form posted with this solicitation on the City's website. The Subcontractor/Supplier Utilization Commitment Form will be determined off of the base bid amount. This task order contract shall be terminated three hundred sixty five (365) calendar days after the issuance of the first task order. The construction time (in calendar days) for each individual site will be negotiated between the City Engineer or Project Manager and the Contractor. The Contractor will be expected to begin construction for each individual site in accordance with Article 1- General Provisions, Section 1.2.4, Notice to Proceed and Commencement of Contract Times in the General Conditions-City of San Antonio Construction Contracts. Liquidated damages for construction time will be assessed on a per site basis should the contractor fail to complete the construction in the specified working days as negotiated by the City Engineer or Project Manager. The Contractor shall refer to section 4.3.6 of the general conditions for claims for additional contract time due to inclement weather. It is anticipated that some project sites may require working time restrictions. No additional cost will be paid to the contractor for reduced working times.
