The River Authority is seeking competitive sealed proposals for the Zarzamora Creek Trail (Ingram Rd. to Tierra del Sol Park). African American Business Enterprise (AABE) 3% This project continues the trail improvements through the Howard W. Peak Greenway Trails System along Zarzamora Creek from Ingram Rd. downstream to Tierra Del Sol Park. Completion of the project will extend trail access along the Zarzamora Creek thereby connecting all the west side creeks, including Apache, Alazan, San Pedro and Martinez Creeks, to the San Antonio River Mission Reach project to provide continuous and safe access between the trail networks. This trail linkage will create convenient and safe hike and bike connectivity for residents and visitors to access destinations such as county or city parks, swimming pools, or other community assets. This project is funded by the City of San Antonio Parks Department through the 2022 Bond Program.
