As of July 24, 2025, the project was awarded to Double B Excavating, with an awarded amount of $496,337.22. For the following work: Approximately 1,500 LF of sanitary sewer main replacement, sanitary sewer lateral connections, replacement of 8 manholes, rehabilitation of 2 manholes, asphalt pavement replacement and pavement markings. Contractor is responsible for abandoning existing system by filling it with flowable (cementitious) fill. ENGINEER'S ESTIMATE: $552,710.00 The engineer will accept questions for this project until 4:00 pm on June 30, 2025 by submitting any questions in writing to mail@wequicksall.com or fax (330) 339-2227. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 (b) and 153.571 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. The owner intends and requires that this project be substantially completed within 180 days.All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project in accordance with Ohio Revised Code 164.05 (A)(6). Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Order of 1972, and Governor's Executive Order 84-9 shall be required.
