The City of Uhrichsville intends to contract for funding acquisition, engineering, surveying, and bidding services in connection with the ODOT Municipal Bridge Program W. 3rd Street Bridge Replacement (SFN 7961324) Project. Engineering firms interested in being considered for a contract to provide the required services should reply with a single statement of qualifications. Statements received after this deadline will not be considered. Statements of qualifications should include information regarding the firm's history; education and experience of owners and key technical personnel; the technical expertise of the firm's current staff; the firm's experience in designing similar projects within the last five years; the firm's experience with applying for funding assistance programs (local match); availability of staff; the firm's equipment and facilities; references; firm's proximity to the City; and any experience and work history with the City of Uhrichsville, however not required. The projects will include the acquisition of funding (local match) and administering the funds through close-out (anticipated funding sources: OPWC and ARC), preparation of preliminary and final design, construction plans and specifications, and bidding services for the referenced projects. As required by Ohio Revised Code 153.65-71, responding firms will be evaluated and ranked in order of their qualifications. Following this evaluation, the City Mayor, Director of Services, and Council will enter contract negotiations with the most highly qualified firm.
