Site work, new construction and renovation of a fire / police facility in Flower Mound, Texas. Working plans call for the construction of a fire / police facility; for the renovation of a fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.

The Town of Flower Mound is accepting sealed submittals for the following item(s) at the herein stated location until the due date and time stated below: BID No: 2025-87-B - Construction Manager-at-Risk Services for Construction of New Fire Station 6 and Optional Construction of New Fire Station 9 and Renovation of Fire Station 3 Anticipated Construction Start: Spring 2027 The project shall consist of the following facilities, including options for either one (1) or two (2) fire stations under a single contract, with an additional fire station renovation if the 2 nd Fire Station is approved for construction under this contract. 2 B. Fire Station 6 (Base Contract): To be located on a vacant 6.64-acre property at 6801 Canyon Falls Drive, Station 6 is planned to provide the following spaces and amenities, with associated site development work (site utilities, grading, drainage, and landscaping): 1. Four (4) pull-through apparatus bays 2. ICC-500 Storm Shelter, with Restroom 3. Training Classroom / Community Room that also provides a back-up EOC setting. 4. Police Office/Break area 5. Community library "kiosk" / study area (may be an outdoor space) 6. Fitness area, Day Room, Kitchen/Dining, Outdoor Patio to house five (5) firefighters and two (2) officers per shift (3 shifts). 7. Hot/Cold Therapy integrated into Fitness/Wellness area. 8. Secure fenced area for staff vehicles. 9. Emergency generator within the secure fenced area. 10. Separate (office) space for other Town departments to utilize. 11. Fuel Island (dual fuel) C. Fire Station 9 (Optional): To be located on an approximately 3.0-acre vacant property on the north side of Aberdeen Drive, near (and east of) International Parkway. Station 9 is planned to provide the same spaces and amenities as listed above for Station 6, along with associated site development work, with the following exceptions: 1. No office space for other Town departments is planned for Station 9. 2. No community library "kiosk" / study area is planned for Station 9. 3. No fuel island is planned for Station 9. D. Remodel of Fire Station 3: If the Owner elects to move forward with construction of Fire Station 9 as part of this contract, then the scope of work shall also include the interior remodel of existing Fire Station 3. The planned remodel will convert the facility to provide other potential fire station functions, such as department-wide Logistics and/or Fire Marshal office space.
