Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Wilmington, Delaware. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The Adams Street Green Storm Infrastructure, Green Infrastructure Installation project includes the construction of Green Infrastructure and park improvement, including: three bioretention areas; landscaping; site grading; storm sewer piping; manholes and inlets; sidewalks; and pavement restoration. This project is funded by the Delaware Water Pollution Control Revolving Loan Fund: therefore, bidders and the successful contractor must comply with the related Program Requirements. Bidders must comply with Build America, Buy America (BABA) requirements and American Iron and Steel (AIS) requirements. Bidders must follow the Good Faith Efforts in providing opportunities to Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) in preparation of their bids and procurement of construction, supplies, and services. This project is subject to State of Delaware Prevailing Wage Rates regulations and the Davis Bacon Wage Rates, whichever is higher. A bid bond in the amount of 10% of the total bid is required to be submitted with the bid on this contract
