Martin County is seeking bids from qualified vendors for the provision of on-site custodial services at various facilities throughout the County. The selected vendor will be responsible for maintaining clean, sanitary, and orderly conditions across all designated locations in accordance with the standards and schedules outlined in the contract. Prohibited Communications. The Cone of Silence prohibits any communication regarding a RFB, RFP, RFQ or other competitive solicitation between any bidder (or its agents or representatives) or other entity with the potential for a financial interest in the award (or their respective agents or representatives) regarding such competitive solicitation, AND any County Commissioner or County employee, selection committee member or other persons authorized to act on behalf of the Board including the County’s Architect, Engineer or their subconsultants, or to provide a recommendation to award a particular contract, other than Purchasing Division staff (pur_div@martin.fl.us). The Cone of Silence shall be in effect from the time of advertisement until contract award. Such communication shall result in disqualification. The County recognizes fair and open competition as a basic tenet of public procurement. Contractors doing business with the County are prohibited from discriminating on the basis of race, color, creed, national origin, handicap, age or sex.
