Renovation of a parking garage in Charlotte, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a parking garage.
**As of August 12, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The City of Charlotte is seeking proposals for Roof Replacement at the DPW Garage. Scope includes complete removal of the existing roof and installation of a new standing seam metal roof, ashing, and related components. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. Scope of Services The selected contractor shall be responsible for the removal and replacement of the roof; the proper disposal of debris; and the cleaning of areas affected by the construction project. The contractor shall furnish and install the following in conjunction with the new standing seam metal roof: flashing, boots, sealant, and whatever else, and any related appurtenances. The Public Works Director or her representative will be the contact for coordination of work. The contractor is responsible for securing all required permits There is no pre-bid walk-through scheduled.
