Site work for a water / sewer project in Charlotte, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City of Charlotte, Michigan is accepting sealed bids for the Replacement and Installation of Three (3) Sewage Pumps at the Tirrell Pump Station. The project includes replacement of 3 pumps (10" discharge, 12" suction, 75 HP, 460V/3PH/60Hz motors), with installation to be performed by the pump supplier. It is expected that City Council will award the bid during its meeting on September 22, 2025. There is no pre-bid walk-through scheduled. Any questions regarding the Replacement of Three (3) Sewage Pumps can be directed to Scott Perry Asst. Superintendent of Utilities at (517)231-6332 or sperry@charlottemi.org. or Matt Griffith Superintendent of Utilities at (517)231-2324 or mgriffith@charlottemi.org. The project shall include all of the necessary mechanical/electrical disconnections and reconnections for the proper operation and use of the pump station. The Utility Superintendent or his representative will check the startup and operation of the pumps and recommend any adjustments. It will be the contractor responsibility to make those adjustments. The Utility Superintendent or his representative will verify proper operation upon completion
