Engineer shall furnish all professional services, personnel, equipment, and materials necessary to perform the Scope of Services described in the Citys RFP dated September 15, 2025 and Engineers proposal (including the Bid Form, staffing plan, fee schedule, and any written addenda or authorized modifications). The scope includes, without limitation: o Materials testing (nuclear density, concrete cylinders/air, etc.) and reporting; o Full-time construction inspection during active operations, daily reports, quantity measurement, and pay estimate preparation; o Coordination with City staff, contractor, and stakeholders; and o Delivery of MDOT-compliant project records and closeout documentation. Term & Schedule. Services shall commence upon Notice to Proceed and continue through final project closeout. Construction is anticipated to last four (4) weeks with one contractor crew, with substantial completion by November 7, 2025 and final completion by November 14, 2025, unless extended by written approval of the Supervising Professional. Liquidated Damages (Services). Failure to meet critical documentation deadlines (e.g., monthly pay estimate submittals within 5 business days of period end; final records within 30 calendar days of final completion) without written approval may subject Engineer to liquidated damages of $150 per calendar day for late deliverables. This is agreed to be a reasonable forecast of damages and not a penalty. The City may deduct liquidated damages from monies due.
