Anticipated start date is Summer 2025; the substantial completion of this project is expected no later than Spring of 2026. This project is for a contractor to provide and install roof anchors on multiple buildings on the UNT Health Science Center (UNTHSC) campus located at 3500 Camp Bowie Blvd., Fort Worth, Texas. This project is for installation of mechanically fastened roof anchors on four (4) campus buildings that range from four (4) to six (6) stories per the campus engineer drawings included. These buildings require window washing by hanging scaffolds. Roof anchors must be capable of supporting a minimum load of 5,000 pounds per worker attached. Currently and in the past, scaffolding has been supported by counterweights. The buildings that the roof anchors will be installed on are the Carl E. Everett Education & Administration (EAD), Health Pavilion (HP), Gibson D. Lewis Library (LIB), Research & Education (RES). The vendor will need to provide certification of the work to UNTHSC as well as all regulatory bodies and comply with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Act) requirements.
