Town of Stoughton c/o Stoughton School Building Committee invites Qualifications for Construction Manager at Risk firms pursuant to MGL Ch 149A. Response to this Request of Qualifications is the first step in a two- phase procurement process. The proposed South Elementary School is a three-story, 101,370 gsf building for 515 students in grades K-5. Located on the 27-acre Town-owned 'Line Lumber' site off Park Street, the design features a pinwheel layout with classroom wings radiating from a central Learning Commons/STEM atrium. A fourth wing houses the Cafetorium and Gymnasium with a community entrance. Each grade-level wing includes classrooms, Special Ed space, resource rooms, specialist offices, extended learning, and support areas. Outdoor learning zones are enclosed by the wings. The site includes separate car and bus loops, shared entry, and parking for school and community use. The project aims for LEED Silver. Construction of the new building is expected to start in the Spring/Summer of 2026 with 31 months for all phases of the work including site enabling, new construction, and Commissioning/turn over.
