The project generally consists of the following: Installation of new submersible raw sewage influent pumps within the headworks wet well and influent bypass pumping to accommodate new pump installation; Replacement of mechanical equipment and piping systems, including pumps, blowers, grit classifiers, grit cyclones, valves and buried pipelines; Installation of a new grit discharge platform, washout area and pump pads; and Electrical system, concrete pavement, and civil and yard improvements to accommodate equipment installations. The City's estimated cost of the base bid improvements is $2.9 to $3.2 million. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
