Facilities Management Building One, Training Room A SCOPE OF WORK: The general scope of the work includes but is not limited to: Demolish Spidle Hall and provide required earthwork, shoring wall construction, and hazardous material abatement per drawings and specifications. BONDS : A certified check or bid bond payable to Auburn University in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, but in no event more than $10,000.00, must accompany the bidder's proposal. Performance and Statutory Labor and Material Payment Bonds will be required at the signing of the Contract. Furnish all labor and materials required to complete the electrical work indicated on drawings or herein specified. Major work included. 1. Arrange with University Utilities for providing such electrical and electronic services as indicated or herein specified. 2. Complete demolition of electrical distribution system as detailed on drawings. 3. Complete additions to electrical distribution system as detailed on drawings. 4. Procure and pay for permits and certificates as required by local and State ordinances and Fire Underwriters certificate of inspection. 5. Visit the site and determine conditions which affect this contract. Failure to do so will in no way relieve Contractor of his responsibility under this contract. Furnish all labor and materials required to complete the electrical work indicated on drawings or herein specified. Major work included in this section shall be: A. Remove or relocate all electrical or electronic services located on or crossing through the project property, either above or below grade, which would obstruct the construction of the project or conflict in any manner with the completed project or any code pertaining thereto. B. Furnish and install complete electrical light and power system. C. Connect all meters, switchboards, panelboards, circuit breakers, power outlets, convenience outlets, switches and/or other equipment forming part of the system. D. Connect all electrical equipment mentioned in this section or noted on drawings, whether furnished by Electrical Contractor or by others. E. Procure and pay for permits and certificates as required by Local and State Ordinances and Fire Underwriters Certificate of Inspection. F. Visit the Site and determine conditions which affect this contract. Failure to do so will in no way relieve contractor of his responsibility under this contract. G. Submit to Architect a Certificate of Final Inspection from local Inspection Department along with assurance of completion of any items on this list.
