The Project Includes the Following Work: Install Temporary Jacking System, Replace Timber Cap Beams, Construct Timber Pile Repairs, Install Steel Sheet Pile Lagging, and Additional and Incidental Work as Called for by the Specifications and Plans. Doc Note : The Designated Website Will Be Updated Periodically With Addenda, Lists of Registered Online , Reports, and Other Information Relevant to Submitting a Bid for the Project. All Official Notifications, Addenda, and Other Bidding Documents Will Be Offered Only Through the Designated Website. Neither Owner Nor Engineer Will Be Responsible for Bidding Documents, Including Addenda, if Any, Obtained From Sources Other Than the Designated Website. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: City of Newport 169 Sw Coast Highway Newport, or 97365. 00255.00 Scope - This Work consists of temporarily raising and shoring the existing Spans located at bent 1, with jacking system for the purpose of cap beam replacement. Once the Work is completed, the span will be lowered back into place and the jacking system removed. The term "jacking system" includes jacking equipment, temporary support seat, falsework jacking bent or temporary corbel.
