Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Crete, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
The Project includes the following Work: Consists of the removal and replacement, and installation of Culvert Pipes at 3 locations with complete installations, re-grading of impact areas, seeding, traffic control, signage and other related work items. Bidders must also have a prequalification in accordance with applicable sections of the Illinois Administrative Code Section 650. Each Bid must contain the full name and address of every person or company interested in said proposal and be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the sum of 5% of the amount bid to the satisfaction of the Crete Township Road District as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted a contract will be entered into and its' performance properly secured by a surety bond. Should any bid be rejected such check will be forthwith returned to the bidder and should any bid be accepted, such check will be returned to the bidder upon proper execution of the contract. Instructions to Bidders. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. The right is reserved to waive any irregularities and to reject any and all bids.
