Site work and paving for a civil project in Crete, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Bidders must also have a prequalification in accordance with applicable sections of the Illinois Administrative Code Section 650. Each Bid must contain the full name and address of every person or company interested in said proposal and be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the sum of 5% of the amount bid to the satisfaction of the Crete Township Road District as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted a contract will be entered into and its' performance properly secured by a surety bond. Should any bid be rejected such check will be forthwith returned to the bidder and should any bid be accepted, such check will be returned to the bidder upon proper execution of the contract. Bids are to be submitted on the bid form provided in the bidding document and shall be enclosed in an opaque sealed envelope plainly marked 2025 Crete Township Road District Pavement Maintenance Project and shall bear the name and address of the bidder The Project includes the following Work: Consists of the construction of Class "D" Hot-Mix Asphalt pavement patching at a location-by-location basis within Crete Township including Pavement Removal, Aggregate Base Preparation, Hot-Mix Asphalt Binder and Surface Replacement, HMA Surface Course Mix D, N50, Cold Milling, Traffic Control, and other related work items The right is reserved to waive any irregularities and to reject any and all bids.
