No definite date for the rebid.** West Platte R-II School District is currently seeking bids for Heating Ventilation, Air Conditioning Rooftop Units The West Platte R-II School District is requesting proposals from qualified individuals or companies for the removal and replacement of two (2) rooftop HVAC units for high school gymnasium and two (2) rooftop multizone HVAC units for elementary classrooms and high school classrooms. The District is seeking a reliable, cost-efficient solution that meets the listed specifications. The successful contractor shall be responsible for the following: Equipment supply and delivery -Supply and deliver all new HVAC equipment to the job site. -Store all units, equipment, and materials securely through project completion. -Haul off and properly dispose of all removed equipment and materials. Demolition and removal -Remove two (2) existing rooftop HVAC units servicing the gymnasium. -Remove two (2) existing rooftop HVAC units servicing classroom spaces. Installation -Install two (2) new rooftop HVAC units for high school gymnasium -Install two(2) new rooftop HVAC multizone units for classrooms. -All proposed replacement units shall not exceed the weight of the existing units unless the Contractor first obtains a written structural assessment and certification, prepared and signed by a licensed structural engineer approved by the District's architectural firm, HTK Architects, confirming that the supporting structure is adequate to accommodate the increased load.Such certification must affirm that the existing structural systems are capable of supporting the additional load. No deviation shall occur without the District's prior written approval. -Complete all necessary ductwork modifications and rooftop penetrations. -Perform all electrical work associated with the project, including any new wiring. -Ensure proper rigging, setting, and mounting of rooftop equipment, including any structural supports required by code or engineering recommendations. Controls Integration -Upgrade and integrate Honeywell controls for all new HVAC units that include EBI server, gymnasium LON controllers, elementary classroom LON controllers, and high school LON controllers. -Program and update front-end Honeywell graphics to reflect the new system configuration. -Verify full operational compatibility with the existing building automation system. Commission and Startup -Perform system startup and ensure all HVAC equipment operates per manufacturer specifications.
