**As of September 10, 2025, the project was awarded to Verogy, with an awarded amount of $707,703.15** The Town of Brookfield (the Town) is seeking proposals for the development of solar arrays at Brookfield High School (BHS), Whisconier Middle School (WMS) and Candlewood Lake Elementary School (CLES) under the Non-Residential Renewable Energy Solutions (NRES) program. WMS and CLES will be roof-mounted, and BHS will be a parking canopy system. Bid Bond: Not Required This work is subject to the State of CT. CHRO set aside program and contract provisions. This work may be subject to the State of CT Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities (CHRO) set aside program and contract provisions. If applicable, bidders must complete, sign and return the: "CHRO Contract Compliance Regulations Notification to Bidders" form to the grantee at the time of bid opening. A copy of the form is available in a separate PDF document post with this RFP. If applicable, the Contractor shall submit a Set-Aside Plan for approval by the CHRO within 30 days following contract execution. The Town shall retain 2% per month of the total contract value until the Contractor has submitted an approved Set-Aside Plan to CHRO and CHRO has granted approval.
